This tool, accessible via the Internet through the SIM website, is hosted on a highly secured server. The use of Cognibox™ requires no specific software, except for a web browser.

Cognibox™ enables a cross-reference between competencies and job functions, while evaluating individual training needs for a given job function or a given affiliate site (for corporations with many business units). Comparative analysis is possible to quickly identify the needs and the competency levels required against job functions broken down for individuals, business units, etc. With its rich and extensive user interface, Cognibox™ is a tool that will optimize training costs, and increase a company's overall productivity.
Standardization
Companies that need to comply to internal training standards dictated by their certification (FDA, SOP, BPF, ISO 9001, HACCP, Health Canada, etc.) and external standards (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, CSST) not only use Congnibox to keep track and provide proof of training received, but additionally use it to manage renewal of these training activities.
